Greg Cole gained a foundation of programming fundamentals as a Computer Science Major at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. His interest in the Internet stemmed from a passion to be involved in its creative processes and to keep pace with its ever-expanding reach. Cole enjoys finding the best possible solution for each customer and creating the solutions and tools they need as their businesses grow.

In 2004, Cole acquired HammerTap and quickly began the development process to follow eBay data regulations and to utilize licensed eBay market data. In 2006, HammerTap LLC was established, and in 2007, Cole led HammerTap in the acquisition of Auction Trust Network.

Currently, Cole hosts a monthly interview with eBay Radio’s host and Dean of Education, Jim Griffith (Griff). In 2006, 2007, and 2008, Merrill Lynch nominated Cole as a candidate for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
